The thirteenth century was a turning point for Eurasian people. Mongolians, who were the inheritors of the nomadic Hun, Gokturk and Uyghur Kaghans, united the tribes in the steppes and built an empire. For some nations this empire was a beginning of glorious, bright history where as it was a beginning of the catastrophe for the others. For Kyrgyzs, who won the Uyghur Khagans in 840 and who were the pretenders for the reign of the steppes, XIII century was very harsh. After XIII century the axis of the Kyrgyz people shifted towards Tian Shan.
In this paper we will analyze Kyrgyz-Mongol relations from the Kyrgyz historical point of view. The study consists of Introduction, three chapters (parts) and the conclusion.
