1443777286 WOMAN IN TRADITIONAL WEDDING RITUALS OF LOWER AMUR INDIGENOUS PEOPLES

This article analyzes the ambiguity of the female characters in traditional wedding rituals of indigenous peoples of the Lower Amur. Women's images in the wedding ceremony, though not included in the overall system of actors, at the same time formed a special system or subsystem has a certain hierarchy. Its core organizing center (but not the organizer of the wedding) performed a bride during the ceremony that gradually and consistently changed its status from a girl to a bride married woman. This was reflected in a number of special rituals, which fixed her separation from her father's family, under the authority of the husband and his relatives.
